Hello, my name is W. Dee Daniel. I am currently pastoring First Baptist Church in Timpson, TX. I am 48 years old. I have been married to my High School sweetheart Rebecca for 28 years. We have three children. Candra is 27 years old and is a Special Education Teacher at a local school. She is married to Chad Huckaby and they were married on June 6, 2016. Richard is 19 years old and is attending Texas State Technical College, and Olivia is 17 years old and a freshmen at Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches. Rebecca and I were foster parents to over 50 young boys and girls in 13 years of doing foster care. I surrendered to the gospel ministry in 1998. After my call to the ministry I preached in churches, nursing homes, or wherever else the Lord opened the door for the next couple of years. I was ordained to the Gospel Ministry on November 26, 2000. The first church I served in was as Co-Pastor of Hull St. Baptist Church in Gladewater, TX. The Lord truly worked in the church during our time there. From there, the Lord called me to pastor First Baptist Church of Beckville, Texas. We served the Lord there for three and a half years seeing many come to know the Lord as their Savior. After our time in Beckville the Lord sent me to pastor Providence Baptist Church, Tool, Texas. In our time at Providence Baptist the Lord used us to minister to many that were new to the faith and to help disciple those that were growing into their faith. Then in December of 2009 the Lord called us to Martinsville Baptist Church where we served until July 31, 2016. I am now serving as Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Timpson, Tx where we look forward to serving the Lord and His people for many years to come.
As far as education is concerned, I started my post high school education at Kilgore Junior College in Kilgore, Texas. From there I transferred to The University of Texas at Tyler. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in History with a minor in Social Studies in May 2004. I went back to future my education a few years later and received my Master of Theology degree from Liberty University in December of 2017. I hope to continue to my education in the near future to work toward a Doctoral degree.
I have two life verses. The first is Jeremiah 33:2-3, "Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name; Call unto me, and I will show you great and mighty things, which you knowest not." The second is 1 Corinthians 10:31-33, "Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. Give no offense, either to the Jews or to the Greeks or to the church of God, just as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved."
I have preached many revivals in Texas as well as in Belize, Central America and twice in Cambodia. I have been apart or lead short-term mission trips to Belize for the past 23 years. At this current time we are leading two to three groups on missions trip each year. God has called me to pastor and minister to God's people here in the United States but to also see the Gospel to to those that live in all areas of the world. If you would like to receive more information about me coming and preaching a revival or if you would like to come on a mission trip please click HERE or send me an email at [email protected].
It is my prayer that you are enriched and also challenged by navigating through this site. I have a Four-Fold goal in ministry and life based on Acts 1:8, " But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” First, I pray each day that I might live my life so that I glorify God in all that I do. Secondly, I want to have opportunity to show others that great and awesome love that the Lord has shown me through Jesus Christ, His son, so that they might come to know Him as their Lord and Savior as well. Third, I want to cause fellow believers to grow in their walk with the Lord so that they might be inspired, challenged, and disciples in Christ. And lastly, I want to to disciple those that do come into the faith so that they may grow, so that they will lead others to Christ as well.
God bless you,
W. Dee Daniel
