I am not saying that President Trump is near the man that Moses was but I do believe that the Lord has placed him where he is for a purpose. I also know that scripture is clear that there is never anyone placed in power, government or leader, that God does not allow or even place there. Many of the same ones that where bashing the last president are crying "Victory" now. And those that were crying "Victory" last time are screaming "Foul" this time. We must understand that ever president and leader is under the hand of God! Whether it be a "good" president or a "bad" president. If you think this one is bad then hold out faith that God is still sovereign and can turn the heart of the leader whichever way he chooses. I see when looking at Scripture that God used some really awful kings to usher in His plan. Whether you see the last president as the "bad one" or you see this one as the "bad one" just remember that God is still in control not matter the person sitting in the oval office and that person will serve God's ultimate will!!
Let me make one more point, "Complaining isn't becoming of a Believer!!" as a matter of fact, complaining should not be named among us a Christians. Numbers 11:1-10 says, "Now when the people complained, it displeased the Lord; for the Lord heard it, and His anger was aroused. So the fire of the Lord burned among them, and consumed some in the outskirts of the camp. hen the people cried out to Moses, and when Moses prayed to the Lord, the fire was quenched. So he called the name of the place Taberah, because the fire of the Lord had burned among them. Now the mixed multitude who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said: “Who will give us meat to eat? We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic; 6 but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!” Now the manna was like coriander seed, and its color like the color of bdellium. The people went about and gathered it, ground it on millstones or beat it in the mortar, cooked it in pans, and made cakes of it; and its taste was like the taste of pastry prepared with oil. 9 And when the dew fell on the camp in the night, the manna fell on it. Then Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, everyone at the door of his tent; and the anger of the Lord was greatly aroused; Moses also was displeased." When we complain we "kindle" the anger of the Lord. Look at these other scriptures as well: Philippians 2:14, "Do all things without murmurings and disputings"; Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers."; James 5:9, "Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door." I know some would say, "I have right to complain!" and others would say, "That is all the other side does so I am just countering what they are doing!" This sounds like the justification that a 5 year-old makes as to why they hit the other kids, "Because he/she hit me first!" As followers of Jesus Christ we are to be "light and salt" so that others will "see our good deeds and glorify our Father who is in heaven" according to Matthew 5:16.
I pray that this has caused you to contemplate the things going on in the world today! Let's be what the Lord has called us to be! If you have enjoyed this article then please "Comment", "Share", and/or "Like" it!
