I will also say, that I would like to have a candidate that is truly a Christian but since there is not one then I will vote for the candidate that most closely aligns with the Bible not my personal views.
How can a Christian vote for a Mormon for president has been a question I have many Christians ask me. My answer to them will be expressed here. I will start by saying that the current president has said that he is a Christian but his actions now and over the past years have not been those of a Christian. So I believe you and I must look at the two candidates that are running for president as if neither one of them is a Christian. The current president, if he is a Christian, does not allow the Bible to be his guiding light for his decisions. As far as the other candidate, Mitt Romney, it is obvious that he is a Mormon and by being a Mormon he is not a Christian as stated by the Word of God. So by stating this, we must look at the views and the past record of the two candidates. Which of the two candidates views, polices, and platform beliefs line up more closely with the views of the Bible. I would have to say that the views of the Republican candidate more closely lines up with the Word Of God. The Republican Party has a platform of upholding the sanctity life. Their platform also holds to the value of traditional marriage being between one man and one woman. These views are their views as well as the views of God's Word. The idea that as a Christian I can only vote for a Christian is not true.
I will also say, that I would like to have a candidate that is truly a Christian but since there is not one then I will vote for the candidate that most closely aligns with the Bible not my personal views.
